In 2013, Buffalo State University welcomed the Iota Chapter of Phi Sigma Chi Multicultural Fraternity, marking a significant addition to its vibrant Greek Life community. This establishment signified the culmination of efforts by a group of students dedicated to fostering brotherhood through the lens of multiculturalism. Phi Sigma Chi, as a national organization, provided support and guidance to the founding members as they navigated the process of chartering their chapter. The Iota Chapter’s presence on campus offers students a unique fraternal experience, emphasizing diversity, inclusion, and the celebration of different cultural backgrounds. Since its inception, the Iota Chapter has greatly contributed to the university’s social fabric through various activities, events, and initiatives, promoting understanding and respect among its members and the broader student body.
