As the spirit of giving and togetherness comes to us in this year end, I would like to take this opportunity to inform you of a community service opportunity that Phi Sigma Chi has been invited to attend. Most of you know that we? Chi work with ENYCC for their back to school event but this year for the first time they will be serving Thanksgiving dinner for the East New York Community. I am asking all Phi to attend this event, this is a special opportunity to give back to those who might not be able to celebrate family and giving this year because of the hard economic times.
The event will be held on November 22, 2008 from 12pm-5pm. We will be serving at least 500 people so volunteers are greatly needed. The sister of Delta Sigma Chi will also be volunteering and both Phi and Chi national councils will be also making financial contributions towards the event.
